We all have movies that for various reasons, change us. Craigslist Joe, changed me, and became a part of me. Not only was this movie very well-made, and not only did it flow until the last moment, but I laughed, I cried, and I learned. We all tend to follow the same path and do as we are told, but Joe steps out of the box and for one month, bases his whole well being as well as transportation, soely on the strangers of craigslist, and the random people he encountered on his way. What surpries me? People were challeneged to be kind to someone and fulfill someones needs who had nothing to give back, and they performed! In the last scene of Craigslist Joe, Joe heads home to the place he had left one month ago, when his adventure began. Greeted by his family, Joe's mother says,"Describe your experience in ten words or less." Joe responds with something like, "This was the most inspiring experience of my life." As he broke out into tears...and I felt it. This was an extremely inspiring film, and I urge everyone to watch it.

This movie had a lot of potential, but unfortunately it was kind of ruined by his own ignorance of the other and the power of his own privilege in just being a middle-class, white, male alone. I believe if he would have had some recognition of that, he would have known how to focus in more on the lines of Morgan Spurlock or Michael Moore. His experience was beautiful, but he graced over what could have been deep moments of human connection and insight for fluff. I can only wonder what this film could have been because the concept is really brilliant.

Thought it was really inspiring and honest. A creative commentary on socialization of the internet age and seeing how there is socializing and humanity in the social media age. Well produced with a authentic docu style production and a great soundtrack. I was very pleased and moved to tears by the film!

Yesterday I watched joe's documentary and In a few simple words I would describe it as a "need-to-see" and an eye opener. I respect others opinions but I find it hard to believe that someone could bash an inspiring film, created for the mere sake of self worth and inspiration. I have seen many documentaries in my time and this was one of the most captivating stories I have seen in quite some time. Nice work Joe. You inspired me greatly.
