Incredible performance by Con O'Neill in this tragic story of success, bad business decisions, failure, depression......great film with an equally great soundtrack.

decent watch had a made for tv feel about it decent turns by kevin spacey,ralph little and a cameo from carl barat of the libertines as gene vincent i thought lead con o neills portrayal of joe meek was abit over acted

Padecible film sobre la vida del productor musical JOE MEEK. CON Oâ??NEILL en el rol principal ( MEEK ) brinda una performance en la cual, tras poner todo de sÃ, no alcanza ni estÃ¡ a la altura de tan irrisorio desarrollo de personajes, burdos, de entradas a ritmo de sitcom. KEVIN SPACEY con un secundario que sÃ³lo suma un nombre a un poster. MEEK fue el encargado de Ã©xitos discogrÃ¡ficos en singles como â??JUST LIKE EDDIEâ?? y el â??TELSTARâ?? del titulo. Innovador segÃºn algunas lecturas, desprolijo en la administraciÃ³n, gay un tanto encubierto, y creador del grupo THE TORNADOS. Se hace menciÃ³n a hits de ese momento de ELVIS, THE BEATLES, JERRY LEE LEWIS y BUDDY HOLLY. 2/10

the best bits are with james corden and ralf little but it was on the whole very tedious and didnt enjoy it like i might have done. this movie tells the life of joe meek and if you ask me its not someone id care to much about

Excellent performances and interesting story about Joe Meak, record producer from the 60's. I saw it at the theatre and enjoyed that -this was as good. The main actor was sitting in front of us watching the film in the cinema, which was a weird experience.
