Groucho makes this movie better and more entertaining than most of Miranda's other movies.

The result is not so wildly zany as the best Marx brothers collaborations, nor is it designed to be. But it is an unpretentiously entertaining movie.

well umn just seen this movie 4 the 1st time n think that this is a good movie 2 watch...its got a good cast of actors/actressess throughout this movie...i think that groucho marx plays a good part throughout this movie...i think that carmen miranda was good as the singer...i think that this is a good 1940's movie 2 watch..i think that the director of this Documentary, Classics movie had done a good job of directing this movie because you never know what 2 expect throughout this movie..its an enjoyable movie 2 watch n its got some good dancing scenes throughout this movie

There's some good one-liners as you'd expect from Groucho, and although the story line plays out like a farce, it is better than that word suggests.
