The first movie I have seen in a long time that I walked away from feeling like I really understood the actions and conversations taken place by the children.

From feeling like I'm watching "Stand By Me" to on the edge of my seat heart racing to the end! Cop Car 2015 is a beautifully crafted well proportioned film that has a drive all the way to the very last minute; Impressive! I didn't quite know what I was getting into when the movie first started, it was slow yet it was building the plot. The cast worked into their characters and took the script home, this movie is a slam dunk for movies of 2015. I'm not a huge Kevin Bacon fan but I do believe this movie has made me reconsider as his role in this film truly showed that he has gotten back on the saddle with his acting. I was extremely impressed with this film all the way through it, it was a slow move into the scenes as it kicked into high gear, highly recommended movie. I cant wait to get this dvd in my collection.

Despite an uneven ending this is a very well acted road thriller that has a solid series of characters, plenty of tense scenes, it is well shot, love the score and the whole naive nature of the two lead kids adds humour, innocence and makes the violence and their situation all the more realistic and nerve racking.
