Murphy’s charm, his close chemistry with Hall, Snipes’ wily performance, and the resplendent costumes uplift this nostalgia trip.

too bad it falls into the very same cliches that reboots/sequels in recent years do and it actually even comments on it midfilm. not much comedy and probably shouldve focused on eddie murphy more, but you have to pass the torch to the next generation, even if they have not yet found their roots besides social commentary.
