"Come Sunday" starts with what many Christians would consider a faltered perception in reference to salvation. This movie clearly misses biblical teachings that would oppose the beliefs of "inclusion" and underlines verses that hint at such an extravagant and likable idea. Regardless of it's interesting proposition to the Word of God, it grasps your attention from beginning to end. The movie is most definitely a conversation starter and I think the writers portrayed the message well enough to spark discussion towards the fundamental values most Christians have held their whole lives. 3 / 5

Pearson’s epiphany, and his subsequent battles with the church, were confusing for both parties, and Marston seeks to underscore that with nuance. Unfortunately, he ends up losing grasp of the compelling drama lying at the heart of that conflict.
