As far as Elvis 60's movies go this is one of the more enjoyable ones.

Another okay Elvis movie, much like his other movies. I recently re-watched this one because I'm a fan of Bixby, who has a part in this one. It's actually pretty funny for the most part, but it's also silly and stupid and full of Elvis songs. Overall, it's okay.

I watched this movie last weekend and I've been trying to muster up the energy to write a review about it all week. Truthfully though, this movie just leaves me flat. There's nothing special about it whatsoever. It's not terribly good, but it isn't terribly bad as well. It's just an uninspiring bit of Elvis marketing really, what more can you say about it? I'm honestly flabbergasted by the high amount of stars this film has from reviewers. Were we even watching the same film?

Clambake in story, dialog and songs is derivative; a stringing together of cliches that must have been cut out and pasted together from a number of other scripts.
