Finally got round to seeing this film, which I've had on DVD since around 2004. I'm ashamed to admit that it's taken me this long to finally get around to watching it. It's a f*cking masterpiece! *Full Review Pending*

Hoodlums? Raging streets? Gangster's life? Wanna see the "undiscovered" part of Brazil, movie based on a true story? Then watch this "undiscovered" film! It's worth to kill my time!

What a powerful movie, with a compelling story line , and some traumatizing characters (to say the least). A real look into the brutal slums of Rio de Janeiro (based on a true story). It was scary to see such a corrupt place for children to be brought up in, where they end up worse than the adults; killing and stealing to survive. This is without mentioning the corrupt police force, who give a helping hand to drug-dealing gangs in order to protect themselves. Flawless acting & a must-see!
