A gentle character sketch gradually makes way for a high-energy tale of loyalty and betrayal that is perhaps rife with clichés but works because Yildirim has established his characters properly.

There are some very spunky blokes in the cast, but I wouldn't call it an intellectual challenge.

Nice filming (has a bit of Sacrifice) but predictable ending. In the beginning of the movie (first 30 mins) I thought this a pretty cliched stuff but actually it is not!

Ein hervorragend inszenierter deutscher Gangsterfilm mit brillianten Gegencharaktären, aber leider mit einem zu durchsichtigem und voraussehbarem Drehbuch.

just not my kind of movie. Pretty well made, though casting was not the best, Bleibtreu was totally miscast and unbelievable, despite his good acting, Reyhan Sahin was most of the time pretty bad in a clichee role... still, if you like Carlitos Way or Mean Streets, this may be a good movie for you... Im just not a fan of this genre...
