Awesomne film. Kept me watching from the beginning. Its got it all. Child goes missing. The police bring the one child back and then won`t accept its the wrong child. Mother gets sectioned by the polise to stop her going to the paper. Brilliant film

a lot better than i expected. really sad. great acting, Angelina in particular. clint eastwood is a good director... may i say, the lighting in that movie was amazing, im learning that shit in school and they did a really good job with changeling. if anything, i dont like the title of the movie.

Collins powerful story was represented in a beautiful and dark story about the love of a mother and the corruption of the 1920's police.

Changeling is a phenomenal film that is one of the most deepest dramas I have ever seen in my life. In 1928 Los Angelos a mother (Angelina Jolie) left her son at home for work, when she returned he was gone. A fruitless search ensues, and months later, a boy claiming to be the nine-year-old is returned. Dazed by the swirl of cops, reporters and her conflicted emotions, Christine allows him to stay overnight. But, in her heart, she knows he is not Walter. As she pushes authorities to keep looking, she learns that in Prohibition-era L.A., women don't challenge the system and live to tell their story. Slandered as delusional and unfit, Christine finds an ally in activist Reverend Briegleb, who helps her fight the city to look for her missing boy. The plot of the film is so good and so beautiful i had a hard time not watching it. The cast is amazing and I can honestly say this is Angelina Jolie's best movie, and her best performance ever. This movie was touching, beautiful, and you will not want to leave until you see the incredible and mysterious ending.

Changeling is one of Clint Eastwood's greatest pictures. Actually, I think this work is unfairly underrated. The movie left me a deep emotional print. The story depicted here is horrifying because it exhibits big corruption and lack of compassion in authorities (who are supposed to protect and help us), but beautifully made, like a vintage classic. Angelina Jolie proves she's an actress, despite most of her films are crap, this is not. She played a stylish and a struggling mother who fights to find her disappeared son. John Malkovich part is good as well. The actor who played the mad serial killer deserved an Academy Award nomination.
