Disturbing horror. A kid is brought up by a serial killer who murdered his mum and is brought up to serve him.

This movie is awesome! You will never see Law and Order the same again. Same for Medium.

Originally I didn't really want to see this, but my best friend convinced me otherwise. It really wasn't that bad though. It's creepy, the acting is good, the overall atmosphere is unsettling, and it has a good surprise at the end. Some things aren't really well explained (motivations etc) but that doesn't really take away from the movie. In fact, it probably adds to it because it encourages discussion. With all that to say, and no really strong examples of issues/flaws, why then did I only rate it 3/5? I've seen better. I just didn't get overly invested in it and it just didn't really sink deep into my psyche. Still, not bad. What did this movie teach me? Trauma affects everyone in a different way, but it most certainly will affect them.

Weird film that didn't quite flow right for me and left a few questions. Watchable but predictable and also forgettable.

Gruesome and realistic, that's the best I can say about this, the young boy actor plays the little kid so well! Not great viewing though, uncomfortable!
