The Salton Sea (2002)

After the murder of his beloved wife, a man in search of redemption is set adrift in a world where nothing is as it seems. Great story, awesome 'film noir', honestly one of Kilmer's best films.

The Salton Sea has a murky, lurid and involving storyline similar to the engrossing Memento. Many similar twists pop up in this movie. The movie is gripping and all of the actors gel perfectly. This movie and Red Planet are Val's 2 most underrated and overlooked classics.

The Salton Sea is about a guy who wants to get revenge on some guys for killing his wife, but he ends up becoming a meth head. This movie is amazing. Val Kilmer's tattoos are even better. The Salton Sea is a deep thinker of a movie. It is multi-layered and doesn't let you lose interest for a minute.
