It's a ripfoff of the Matrix except it's happening in space and there are no evil, robot overlords, just an evil mega-corporation. Not a great movie. Thank goodness for fast-forward on the DVD player.

Cargo" is a competent swiss sci-fi movie, but it's nothing special. The first half is effectively tense and engaging, but it loses its way towards the end. Visually stunning considering it is a low budget film, but unfortunately, it's nowhere near original or creative enough.

Drame SF trop terre a terre (germanique) pour parvenir a se faire thriller en creant de la tension dans un recit laborieux et incapable de generer l'emotion propre a rendre attachante cette errance spatiale. La rigueur de la production rend au moins credible le cadre de l'aventure...

Visually this is a very good movie. However that aside it isn't very good. My main issue with this movie is the use of the speech being dubed througout the movie. It would have been better to have subtitles. The story is okay, but it also tended to drag alone. I was always wanting more to happen. The acting was quite good. However, the plot was quite restricting and convoluted and it was hard to keep up with what was going on due to the slowness of the movie. Also the ending was another nail in the coffin for me. All in all there was no substance to this movie.
