Great adaptation of a true story. Captures the feeling of being on the boat. Captivating and exciting.

This was a very action packed movie but can get boring in the middle stages of the movie. Definitely recommend.

This film is awesome! It makes a great double bill with it's Oscar rival gravity as they are both films chronicling a short period of time where the main character is thrown into a terrible situation with the threat of death around every turn. Barkhad "I am the captain now' Ahbdi if fantastic and keeps his cool against Forest Gump. The FedEX Castaway himself is brilliant. His final scene involving a yellow shirt and a break down is brilliant. Side note: I love the fact that (almost) the first line of the movie is "It's going to be Ok" and the last line is also that.

This is my favorite movie and in my opinion one of the most well-made films in history. It's extremely tense, exciting, dramatic, emotional, and best of all, totally real. It all feels real, like your really there and the people are real.
