This stiff saga of gays in the military, with its manly men being manly together, evokes that tale of repression Brokeback Mountain, while somehow being much less homoerotic than Top Gun.

Heartfelt story of a squad of navy solders and friendship and love. The challenges with being gay in the military before the don't ask don't tell policy was changed and learning that every day counts as itself and you never know if you will be able to say what you want to say and do what you want tomorrow this story makes you laugh cry and be happy for the characters based on a true story and in the real times of the Clinton era

Realistic, believable, and well composed. Clear from the start this is a higher budget LGBT film. At no time did I wish it was over and it kept my interest throughout.
