LOVE IT! LOVED IT! LOVED IT! A must see. Finally a movie that can talk about gays in a very normal and non-stereotypical way. This is gay life as all of us know it...normal, friendly neighbours, etc... And that kid is so adorable! Really Canadian, well acted, credible and not overdone! A must see!

Enjoyed this movie, and even tho' it might be considered predictable in some ways, in others I thought it was unique and well-played. I don't think heart-warming is a bad thing either.

A Canadian film that has punchy dialogue and naturalistic acting (or is it just Canadian actors) working for it. A big screen flick that can easily play on television, it has a touch of that After School Special that makes such topics so special to watch but should not be faulted for that. While never boring, the film never actually picks up the sluggish pace it begins with. Nevertheless recommended as a better-than-average gay flick even with its lame signs of anything remotely sexual.

I thoroughly enjoyed watching this film when I caught it at Calgary International Film Festival. It is a hilarious and toucing dramedy. Entertaining and great to see Tom Cavanagh ( TV's "Ed") on the big screen, as he shines in this comedic role.

Decently funny, little bit heartwarming despite its predictable ending. The actors are all well chosen.
