starts off slow and then shoots for the moon with one hell of a ending

DO YOU LIKE cowboys? Real creepy shit? Feeling shivers up your spine? Then I think you'll love this as much as I did. It spends a bit of time in the beginning on character development, and I think this makes the scares more frightening once you've developed a sort of feeling for each of the characters. This plot was so original and done incredibly well, I can't flaw it. Enjoy.

After watching this movie I can see why critics are all over the place. You either love this film or hate it. I loved it. Nothing contrived, no special effects. Just a slow build up to an incredible and gruesome ending. An unexpected gem.

Rented out of curiosity, as well as a 'fresh' review here, and was not disappointed. slow in parts maybe as far as 'lack of action', but the wonderful dialog and characters made it a most enjoyable time, and never boring. the characters are enjoyable and well done. and there was one scene that dropped my jaw for the sheer audacity of the horror of it. again, a great movie with strong characters, and excellent acting.

Wow, this is best movie I've seen in a long time. Definitely worth watching for anyone. I never thought you could mix comedy and western together and not have either aspect suffer but this is funnier than any comedy I've seen all year yet still a very engaging western.
