Writer, director and actor Tim Robbins is brilliant.

This film predicts the current state of the USA. A politician with a rebel/conservative persona who has people worshiping him and even mobilize for their cause. This mockumentary perfectly captures the danger of having an uninformed, apathetic populace that can be easily manipulated. It's a really well made political satire the type they don't make anymore. The cast is mostly recognizable faces from the 90's and the acting is top notch.

Full of strong, convincing acting in spite of the black-and-white caricatures of evil right-wing people and idealist leftists. The entire film is clearly leftist propaganda, but certainly the best political propaganda film I have ever seen. Hillary Clinton should hire Tim Robbins to do more films like this to attack the Right. This mock documentary captures the audience much better than Michael Moore's "real" documentaries.

The most important and accurate portrayal of the duplicity of Washingon you will EVER see. You'll want everything the movie says to be an exaggegation, but it's not. Sure it's very leftist, but that's quite refreshing considering the flood of right-wing propaganda we have been exposed to for decades. Enjoy, if you can ;) It's even more important now then when it was released.
