Quirky, interesting, and good music too. Somewhat over the top in areas but otherwise a very enjoyable film.

The FAG are on top form here, especially Jack Black and Gore Vidal. Probably closer to the truth than most of America would admit.

I like to see this as the doppelganger of The Candidate in that this shows the same fundamentally flawed and cynical process in a more sharply ironic light.
