The Plan is practically pointless. It does little more than string together old clips from the beginning of the series with new footage that not only fails to resolve any lingering contradictions but if anything creates new ones.

Whereas the last Battlestar movie (Razor) felt like an interesting extended episode, this final Battlestar movie feels like a batch of deleted scenes from seasons 1 and 2. There is some good stuff here: love the extra Stockwell business, the Simon characterization, and â??his suit was burgundy, this is tealâ?? but it just doesnâ??t work as a standalone flick and feels a little bittersweet after the awesome trek of season 4. Plus, why all the pointless nudity? It feels totally out of tone with the rest of the seriesâ??gratuitous, â??Hey This Is A Real R Rated Movie!!!!â?? Meh. This is strictly for Battlestar fans. VF.

Even this one is not as strong as the TV series, but as a loyal Battlestar Galactica fan I would still love it.

Maybe better suited to an inter-season filler like Razor, didn't really add much to the finale (which was hard to beat).

Everything is burning . . . 12 battles, 3 stars. I really enjoyed this "film" the scenes where they destroy the 12 colonies is fantastic, great score, everything is there. It does slow up a bit after a while, but lots of the questions you may of had are answered. The only problem I have is wanting to buy the box set, this will not be included, no doubt there will be a part 2. As for the film they are planning to make don't get me started or the TV series Caprica . . oh my.
