Another indictment of the US Army's behaviour in Iraq, its cover-ups and general dirty laundry. A system rotten at the top sees the man on the ground on trial for crimes born in communications centres miles away, or even worse, in the plushly decorated rooms of the white house, where crooks in suits roam free.

Powerful mockumentary which dramatises the tragic plight of soldiers, insurgents and civilians caught up in that hellish cauldron. The use of Iraqi exiles and Iraq veterans to play the main roles, allied to painstaking research among Iraqi expatriates in Jordan, brings a gritty authenticity to the characterisation which is in stark contrast to the hype and propaganda of mainstream corporate media coverage.

A fascinating drama/documentary set in the aftermath of the Iraq war - when a US Hummer is blown up by Iraqi rebels. The film shows the story from multiple angles - the US Marines, the rebels, the locals - and how nothing is quite as it seems. Really powerful. Really recommended.
