Bagdad Cafe (1987)

A German woman named Jasmin stumbles upon a dilapidated motel/diner in the middle of nowhere. Her unusual appearance and demeanor are at first suspicious to Brenda, the exasperated owner who has difficulty making ends meet. My Fav movie of all time. Superb story & FAB character mix of lost Germans, bad tempered Black cafe owners, wild kids, a hooker tatooist, a Red Indian Marshall and my Fave, Jack Palance as a laid back Hippy Painter!! PLUS the haunting soundtrack will leave you totally besotted with it for months and wanting more..

She is HUGE this Bayerish woman! God she is just good and joy. This movie is all about the impression that remains with you after it's finished. And the soundtrack...Aah the soundtrack. It's not for everybody, if you like blockbusters, whether go away or choose to start a new education. If you're ready for this style of movie: a must-see then!
