It's easy to follow and creepy in many moments and does manage to chill you in a couple places. The synopsis you read here sounds kind of eye rolling but if you actually watch the film it's quite an interesting stab at the genre and decent in terms of conveying a message. A neat little flick.

Moody and suspenseful horror thriller with social commentary, good actors and for the first time make-up effects from Tom Savini. Good Stuff!

Most likely one of the best horror movies you've never heard of, from eclectic director Bob Clark. This is old school horror/social commentary. The score is as creepy as any I've ever heard, and the cast (including John Marley from The Godfather) is spectacular.

Highly underrated film and was the first movie to deal with the aftermath of the Vietnam War and it's effect on the soldiers returning home. The atmosphere is eerie, much like Black Christmas.

A soldier is killed in Vietnam, but his mom wishes him back, and he returns, but now he is weird and distant, and he is also murdering people and injecting their blood into him to keep himself from decaying. You know...that old chestnut! It is a mildly entertaining 70s horror film, it works in someways, feels dated and cheesy in others. Good premise though, just the execution feels a little cheap and dated.
