Bad Ass (2012)

Decorated Vietnam hero, Frank Vega returns home only to get shunned by society leaving him without a job or his high school sweetheart. It's not until forty years later when an incident on a commuter bus makes him a local hero where he's suddenly celebrated once again. Asking Danny Trejo to do any form of acting other than Hispanic thug is stretching his limits but his portrayal of 'Bad Ass', the Vietnam vet with an attitude but heart of gold is passable here if you squint a little. The movie itself is 80's style straight-to-video nonsense but I actually quite enjoyed the retro styling & slightly wooden acting.

Pretty Badass movie! about an ol time veteran hero( the guy from Machete! ), who takes things into his own hands, to aavenge his best friend's murder. a one time dvd watch fer sure! :D

Good ole revenge flick with a bit of heart and the title doesn't disappoint, Danny Trejo is certainly a bad ass in this. But it doesn't get too deep or anything just an old dude whooping ass with a few laughs to keep us going.
