This is a really fun movie. It is Al Pacino as you just don't often see him. He is wonderful in it, but it was greatly underappreciated because it is not his usual style. It is worth watching just to watch a really good, feel good movie. It is a wonderful side for Pacino. It shows his great versatility. He can be believable as anyone.

Hard to imagine why it only got a 50% audience score. I think it is one of Pacino's best performances and shows he can carry a comedic role. Sure some dialogue is awkward but it has some really funny scenes. Pacino plays this quirky character well. The (many) kids are charming as well.

It's kind of cheesey for a Pacino film. Still enjoyable enough and something different for Pacino.

Nice low-key dramedy about a playwright living with his ex's (and ex's ex's) kids. I might be overrating it a bit on the stars, but that is because I think it deserves better than its mediocre-to-poor reputation.
