I love this movie! Jerry Lewis's best!

At War with the Army is a disappointing film. It is about Alvin Corwin is low man on the totem pole at an army training camp. Dean Martin and Jerry Lewis give horrible performances. The screenplay is badly written. Hal Walker did a terrible job directing this movie. I was not impressed with this motion picture.

"in the Navy they steak, caviar and whipped cream cake, ...but in the army you get mess and it really is a mess!...Oh, the Navy gets the gravy, but the Army gets the beans (beans, beans, beans, beans)

Dean plays a gigantic prick, as usual. Jerry plays the bumbling but warm-hearted incompetent, as usual. Wacky hi-jinks ensue. Contains the regrettable line, "Even a concentration camp's gotta be better than this!"
