So sad, it's heart-wrenching and painful to watch in parts. She was such a unique talent, with a gift of a voice and an intelligence which made her stand out to me, both in her song-writing and character. She was so genuine and at times that made her hilarious to watch and be around I imagine. It is a film worth watching for the important message it sends about drug addiction, relationships and support networks.

Eye - opening account of the rise and fall of one of the greatest of recent talents. Through all of the hubris of Mitch and the exploitation of Amy by him and Blake she still comes across as a wide - eyed victim however you can't help feeling it was a road she was destined for. In the field of entertainment its a tale that has been endlessly repeated and no doubt will again in the future. Sad

A wonderful and devastating look at a artist who talent was beyond words. The Doc was wonderfully put together and edited and never panders to the audience and just tells Ms. Winehouse's truly amazing and sad life story.

One of the best movies of the year. Amy is powerful, mesmerizing, and ultimately tragic. Prior to her death, we only knew Amy Winehouse from how the media described her. Filmed entirely with real archival footage of the singer, Amy shows a different side. She was a woman who wanted to sing but didn't want to be famous. It was fame that led to her downfall. This woman had one of the most incredible voices in the world, and the media killed her.
