This was great I saw it it a few years ago Will Smith is a brillliant actor and does a superb job in this great film.

This has to be Michael Mann's and Will Smith's best work. Firstly, because if you are a Mohammed Ali fan and would have followed most of his life through documentaries, the attention to details in this movie is EXCELLENT! Right from the make up to the appearance of each and every character, even Jamie Foxx's character is very real life. Will Smith, has done a spectacular job, especially since Muhammed Ali was such an out spoken character and I would say noone else but Will Smith would have done justice to the role. He had to talk about anything and everything...which was necessary on his behalf. VeRDiCT - Though lengthy, you'll love it if you are a Ali fan and like it if you aren't :)

Encore un grand filme de Michel Mann...A travers ce film on suit la vie du grand Muhammad Ali . Michel Mann c est depasse dans ce film...qui est extremement profond et nous donne une vision de l amerique des annees 60....exellent !

A Will Smith in one of his most mature roles, in the shoes of the iconic and controversial champion. The script is done in such a way that it avoids the cliches of biographies or boxing dramas, which is appreciated. There are elements that seem redundant but at least they are not a drag.
