Ali (2012)

In a role reversal that is challenging for any young adult, Ali has become a caretaker to her mother's delicate mental health. Scarred by the past, she chain smokes, refuses to learn to drive, and is terrified of falling in love. Ali spends her days working in a supermarket and the rest of her time off on misadventures with her friend. But when she meets Julio, her tough veneer starts to crack and she may have to amend her strict rules of non-engagement.

DVD, great performance by Will Smith about a great fighter of all time. Was a little dissappointed with the ending that should have been more recent in his life achievements.

Michael Mann's Muhammad Ali film is not only a terrific biography of one of the 20th century's most important sports figures, it could well be the finest boxing movie ever made.

Will Smith is so wonderful in this movie. No actor living or dead could exceed Will's charisma, charm and just plain likability. Some have matched it but can not top it. Muhammad Ali is one of those. They are connected as few actors and real life counterparts can be. All the performers here give their all, especially Jamie Foxx as Ali's heroine addicted brother. This movie is beautiful with a killer soundtrack. Mann at his best.
