She is the lead in his new production of Strindberg's A Dream Play. She talks of her hatred for her mother, now dead, an alcoholic actress, who was Vogler's star and lover.

Dope movie with that little extra Bergman-paranormal that he's so revered for. Powerful actors play actors in this study of the lives and actions of actors.

I'm stunned. What a great film! Full of deepness, thinking cinema. A great background plot, in a basic scenery, with just three actors, and just one place. I recommend this movie to any Bergman's fan.
