I really thought they did a good acting job and had a clear powerful story line. A little graphic, but it's a good flick for the mature adult Clint Eastwood lover.

It's Clint Eastwood vs. Gene Hackman as the President. Laura Linney is still a bitch, but that's canceled out by the awesomness of Clint Eastwood.

Great re-teaming of Eastwood as hero and Hackman as villain, with Ed Harris giving a great supporting performance as the detective who sees more to the murder than everyone else. Script isn't as tight as it could have been and the music sounds too much like a typical 90s thriller, but Eastwood's direction and his character keep things entertaining and the ending satisfying.

I know alot of folks didn't like this film. I did like it-especially Laura Linney and Ed Harris performances.
