I've seen this completely only twice in my life, and this movie was one of the reasons I have a great interest in the Romanov family.

Epic film, with very lush production values. These type of films are really hit and miss with me, but I thoroughly enjoyed it.

Epic tragic story of the incompetent last tsar of Russia whose blunders were a primary cause of World War one, with disastrous consequences. The scenes with Rasputin and Lenin are very intriguing and interesting. The death of Rasputin scene can too horrific for many people.
