Teenagers Nancy, Quentin, Kris, Jesse and Dean are all neighborhood friends who begin having the same dream of a horribly disfigured man who wears a tattered sweater and a glove made of knives. Ok really, what's so terrible about this movie?! I can understand people liking the original much more, but I myself thoroughly enjoyed this one. The dark creepy atmosphere, more in depth backstory to our villain, and overall it just seemed more sinister as a horror movie should. Although I enjoyed the original, I didn't care for the humor. Plus I really enjoy updated horror movies with better effects. This film isn't nearly as bad as others say...

While the standard say and prey critic may dismiss this film and regard it as irrelevant, a trained eye can see the true spark of life that this film brings to the seemingly endless world of remakes. The crew behind this feature bring ol' Freddy back to life in a flawless effort. A superb remake on all fronts.

a great remake unexpectedly with good plot jump scenes and suspense.the casting was ok and the pot was really good. i was pulled in to watch the whole thing. it was really good
