Could not get into this movie -- though the original images of arenas filled with bullfighting fans are quite amazing.

The legend of el matador Manolete is much more interesting than the movie. It is slow and bored to death.

I felt largely confused throughout most of this movie trying to understand if I was watching a flashback or not, and which girl Manolete was crying over. In the end those were details that just didn't matter. I never felt attached to the love story so I enjoyed the cinematography and being transported back to 1940's Spain and learning a bit about bull fighting.

I enjoyed this film, I gotta watch it again
