I love this movie. Paul Scoffield is amazing... you can see on his face and hear in his voice that Thomas Moore has found something more important than life. What a great acting job.

Robert Bolt is the best screenwriter in history, and Paul Schofield possibly the finest actor. Phenomenally good.

I loved Paul Scofield's portrayal of Sir Thomas More in this film, which is compelling, dignified, and with a touch of gentle humor. Also, it's another great film that teaches a lesson or two, and this one taught me a lot about sticking to your convictions and what you believe in. In my opinion, it's a must-see film.

One of the greatest movies ever made! This has to be the best adaptation of St. Thomas More out there. The acting and dialog in this movie are superb and really make you think, which I like. Excellent movie!
