If you love dogs, you'll love this movie. If you don't, well, maybe go see A Mercedes' Purpose? Seriously--I don't get the negative reviews. This was an amazing book that was turned into a lovely movie that will make any animal lover feel better about the fact that in all likelihood, you WILL outlive your pets. The dogs were adorable, the plot kept moving (in other words it wasn't just "dogs running through wheat fields" but an actual story) and I loved how it all came full circle at the end. I laughed, I cried, there was popcorn involved... what more could a person want?

LOVED! LOVED! LOVED A Dog's Purpose. I had the opportunity to see the film on it's opening weekend. And what a heart warming, well written and well presented movie. I'm not a big fan of book to movie films. I often think I do a better job in my own imagination while reading a book, then the director does in presenting the book on film. Not so with this film. Feel comfortable bringing the entire family to see this heartwarming , feel good film of the year! Get ready to fall in love with every single dog in the film, cry your eyes out, and cheer at the end. I saw all of it happen this weekend at this wonderful film! The little girl in front of me , all of about 6 years old. Left the theater saying "BAILEY, BAILEY , BAILEY!! My guess is you will too!!!

Loved this movie. Read the two books (A Dog's Purpose and A Dog's Journey) when they first came out and was hoping they would be made into movies. Did not disappoint me. It is a feel good movie and that's part of what makes it wonderful. Will be seeing it again this weekend with my husband and then will see it again by myself so I can cry as much as I want to! The movie makes you both laugh and cry - which is awesome.

Critics Consensus: "A Dog's Purpose... tugs at animal-loving audiences' heartstrings with shameless abandon." Yes it does. And that's why I LOVED it. Plus, it is a great movie for families, something that is hard to find.
