Full feature film debut from writer/director Yann Gonzalez. Set over one night, the film tracks the pasts and presents of an orgy's invited guests. The hosts are a young couple and their queer man maid, revealed to have quasi vampire immortality kept alive by endless sex. Their guests, a handful of sexual archetypes, must reveal their 'misadventures' before the party begins. This bizarre, erotic oddity, with its abstract narrative, minimal nudity and electro score, explores the fantastical back stories of its horny cast of characters, increasingly becoming trippy and dreamlike. Somewhere between art house and farce, You And The Night suggest a new Pedro Almodovar and gay cinema darling.
