Wonderful Days (2003)

Civilization has been destroyed by war and pollution, but the survivors have built the last city of Ecoban. As most natural resources have been exhausted, Ecoban is powered by pollution. The citizens of Ecoban need to continue creating this pollution leading them into conflict with the inhabitants of Marr while one man just wants to clear away the clouds and see the sky.

Finally got around to watching this on DVD. Not bad at all.

I think they used every animation style known...and it works incredibly well. Not always easy to understand, nevertheless very hypnotic.

I was truly stunned by this film and loved every part. The animation and soundtrack suited the feel of the film the points it was trying to rise such as the environmental, political and social dangers in society aswell as showing the differant sides of humanity

Stunning combination of 3D and traditional animation, but the story was so poor... Still i'm happy having seen it.

Someone recommended this to me, but having not heard of it before that, I had scond thoughts about it. But it's definitely a must see anime.
