A good comedy from Sebastian Gutierrez ("Elektra Luxx"). I actually saw the sequel, "Elektra Luxx", first and I thought the sequel was better. There were less characters so the story was more concise. Also I thought the best scene during the movie happened after the credits ended. The film stars Carla Gugino ("Elektra Luxx", "Watchmen"), Adrianne Palicki ("Friday Night Lights", "Legion"), Connie Britton ("Friday Night Lights", the upcoming "A Nightmare On Elm Street" remake), Caitlin Keats, Emmanuelle Chriqui ("You Don't Mess With the Zohan", "Entourage"), Marley Shelton ("Grindhouse"), Simon Baker ("The Mentalist"), and Josh Brolin ("No Country For Old Men", "W"). The film also has the director's daughter, Isabella and Joseph Gordon-Levitt ("Brick", "10 Things I Hate About You"). The cast is very good, the acting is decent. The film is funny but I liked the sequel more. 3/5 stars. (3/22/10)

A mish mesh of female drama, some entertaiing and some not. From hookers to porn stars to therapists to stewardeses to wat nots ... involving various issues eg. infidelity, secrets, lesbians, family, etc. The bad is insufficient closure .... left hanging with bad taste.

I thought this would be horrible - but it wasnt. Adrianne Palicki was so funny! This movie is like one of those ones we've come so accustomed to seeing these days where its a bunch of people who are or are not all connected and we get a brief view of some aspect of their lives (see Valentines Day etc.). There were some moments that were boring, but others that were gold. Even some heartfelt moments, I suppose. Truthfully though, the most hilarious moment of this movie happened after the credits - it killed me! So for those of you going into this movie for the main reason of seeing Joseph Gordon Levitt, just know that he doesnt appear until after the credits. What did this movie teach me? Anyone can get a PHD. Make sure you get tested.

High hopes.High Anxiety. High heels. This is a bit of a surprise package. Ladies and guys in touch with heir feminine side will love it. Of course, its a Pedro Almodovar wannabe film, but even the "me-too" at times turn out to be good. I liked it a quite a bit. The B-movie feel worked for this one. Carla Gugino was great as a porn star on crossroads
