This superficial family drama will appeal to many Reds' fans, but it's also so twee compared with Danny Boyle's Millions (2004) that it's unlikely anybody else will want to go near.

Good family film that follows a boy from England to Istanbul to see a Soccer championship after dealing with real life loss of his father. Enjoyable if you let it be

It just feels rather silly, as if it assumes such a reverent audience couldn't possibly need anything as pedestrian as believable characters or a likely plotline.
