This is one of my all time favorite movies. I love the intensity of the love and the fantasy elements mostly. Can't stop crying at the second half, maybe they should make it again with better special effects, wouldn't give the same satisfaction but I'd love to see a remake.

I can understand why some people might have seen this as indulgent etc., but this movie got to me in a way not many movies do. I loved it!

Der Film geht unter die Haut! Wahnsinn! Die Botschaft, die dieser Film vermittelt ist sehr sehr tiefgrÃ¼ndig. Die Handlung in Kurzform: Der Mann stirbt bei einem Unfall, fÃ¼hlt sich im "Himmel" zwar wohl, vermisst aber seine Frau. Die jedoch spÃ¼rt das, bringt sich daraufhin selbst um - und landet geradewegs in der HÃ¶lle! Er bekommt das mit, gibt sein "himmlisches Dasein" auf und geht durch die HÃ¶lle um seine Frau dort rauszuholen. Die Schauspieler sind einfach GroÃ?artig. Der deutsche Titel ist fÃ¼r mich irgendwie schlÃ¼ssiger: Hinter dem Horizont.
