Viva Maria! (1965)

1907 Central America: Maria II is the daughter of an Irish terrorist. After her father's death, she meets Maria I, a performer, and decides to stay with the circus, and on her debut as a singer, unintentionally invents the striptease and makes the circus famous. Their inadvertent encounter with a socialist revolutionary lands them leading a revolution against the dictator, the capitalists, and the Church.

One of Louis Malle's strangest, most eccentric films, this satire of political revolutions is visually spectacular, pairing France's two most popular stars: Brigitte Bardot and Jeanne Moreau.

Brigitte Bardot was a wonderful actress, tho this movie wasn't so good, it had some mistakes in it (not in the dialogue tho)

Brigitte Bardot and Jeanne Moreau both sparkle in this revolution-comedy by Louis Malle. Not a great work of art, but entertaining nevertheless with the stars' musical number an absolute highlight.

I liked this film, know the story isn't all that great but I really love this film.I love that you have 2 top french actress of that time together. Bardot & Moreau just sexy.
