simply beautiful, good to see O'Toole acting brilliantly, Tom Cruise and Brad Pitt would struggle to be so good when they get to his age.

Not many movies are made about that last chapter in a person's life. Peter O'Toole wonderfully encapsulates the finally lonely, sad years as a once great man decays. Yet he remains constantly upbeat, infectiously charming, and sly as a fox. Peter O'Toole gives me hope for when I grow old and grey.

The premise is quite creepy. But still, an amazing film. Possibly the best screenplay/dialogues I have seen in years Maurice: "I did love you. For a time. And for the rest of the time, I was fond of you"

There is only one word to describe this movie: beautiful. Beautiful acting, beautiful imagery, beautiful sadness...just plain beautiful. Peter O'Toole brings an effortless passion and subtlety to every single moment.
