Prob not evry1's cup of tea. But I loved it. Peter o'toole is amazing as usual. Naughty,sad and lovely.

one of the best, if not THE best film i've seen this summer thus far. it could have been so easy to make this into some kind of Lolita, creepy old man making out with young girl film, but it's more than that. it's given respect, we're repulsed by the idea of peter o'toole and leslie phillips but we never see any of it. their relationship is real, she loves the attention (not in an erotic way but just in a person loving her way), and peter o'toole is fascinated by her because she represents his past affairs, his aging body yearns for the touch and presence of a beautiful woman. it's a hellava good film.

a brilliant film with superb acting and more importantly two very big names swearing like sailors throughout. very funny, very emotional.

It's a pleasure to have Peter O'Toole's company here - likely for the last time in a role of such magnitude & majesty, bangs still swept back in boyish wisps and his sky-blue eyes vibrant and hungry. A loving, lyrical, eloquent sonnet to elderly sunsets.
