Vampirella (1996)

Dark, mysterious and sensual, Vampirella (Talisa Soto) is a princess from the Planet Drakulon. Like all vampires, she needs blood to live, but she will not kill to get it - a synthetic substitute keeps her alive. After journeying across space and time seeking vengeance for her father's brutal murder, she now finds herself on Earth, in Las Vegas, where her enemy Vlad (Roger Daltry) has disguised himself as a rock star. In order to stop Vlad's doomsday plan for world domination, Vampirella must make a dangerous alliance with a group of hi-tech vampire hunters. Talisa Soto is great in the title role, with Roger Daltrey hamming it up as Vlad. Bonus points for cameos by Forry Ackerman and John Landis. Gerry Gerani's script sets up for a sequel that never happened. A guilty pleasure.

so cheesy and hilarious an out-of-this-world comic book movie with bad acting, cheap special effects, and funny moments 'Vampirella' makes the jump from comic book to movie and the result is about average, it's not a great transition still, Soto looks fine in that outer space get-up and even Vlad the villain looks like he just found his costume out of the conveinance store it puts a whole new, comedic yet intergalactic spin on the vampire lore and I guess we all have to be open to that I felt very cheated again by the ending, they seriously need to tie up some loose ends majorly I did have fun watching this though, just because of the context it's made up of vampires from space, yeah you heard right

Largely boring and never as sexy as it should be, this Jim Wynorski directed turkey manages to make Roger Daltrey as a scenery chewing vamp still feel kinda blah. Pass, unless you're a completist or glutton from punishment.

It's OK, I guess. Pretty women and Roger Daltrey in flick about the famous comic book hero Vampirella. Vampi fans may find it interesting.
