Valhalla Rising (2009)

Scandinavia, 1,000 AD. For years, One Eye, a mute warrior of supernatural strength, has been held prisoner by the Norse chieftain Barde. Aided by Are, a boy slave, One Eye slays his captor and together he and Are escape, beginning a journey into the heart of darkness. On their flight, One Eye and Are board a Viking vessel, but the ship is soon engulfed by an endless fog that clears only as the crew sights an unknown land. As the new world reveals its secrets and the Vikings confront their terrible and bloody fate, One Eye discovers his true self.

a bit confusing because of the lack of dialog but great cinematography did not have the clears of plot or themes but still a cool movie

Most people will not get this movie with the very little spoken words in it, but it is a brilliant interpretation of how different types of people will act differently when in a extreme crisis situation. The director does a good job at making the scenes fit and keeping the tone eery.

One of the most mesmerizing films I've seen in years. This film is very slow and very artsy but it's psychotic silence, sheer brutality and spiritual redemption flow like prose. It's haunting and ponderous.
