Tally Atwater has a dream: to be a prime-time network newscaster. She pursues this dream with nothing but ambition, raw talent and a homemade demo tape. Redford is outstanding ... he is one of the most precious jewels of Hollywood .. both as an actor and director .... Pfeiffer is getting into my favorite list .. intriguing film!!!

Great movie. I loved how the characters slowly develop a love and Redford's smoldering looks towards her at times took my breath away.

I can t imagine why this movie generated such low rating. I ve seen this film at different times of my life and I ve since appreciated it more now. The main casts have such great chemistry that made this love story believable
