Mr. Rash has earnestness and a touch of eccentricity, but he doesn't have the lighthearted wit to keep this kind of comedy working.

A nostalgic mess not at all helped by age.

An absolute atrocity of a film, basically a film about the dwarves coming to Hollywood for the 1938 Wizard of Oz. Written by 6 people I can't imagine how they could go so wrong. Filled with ridiculous scenes & dialogue it's a wonder it was released. Both Chevy Chase & Carrie Fisher both agree it's the worst film they have ever worked on. It's dreadfully unfunny & I'm aiming never to see it again.

A truly funny movie. Set against the backdrop of both the Wizard of Oz and the impending war in Europe, this movie manages to have both humor and suspense. It is well cast and well played.

What more could you want? Chevy Chase when he was still in his prime, Princess Leia, and more midgets than you can shake a stick at. Genius!
