The movie was good for teenage... Lots of moral values in side this movie... Don't be selfish like Theo and Mr. Jones.. Trust the person who trusted in you and she/he that always be there for you... I'm touched emotionally.. Hahaha.. ^.* <3

Thin plot line, little character development, overwritten musical score... unbelievable sci-fi story... shall I go on? Glad it only cost a buck to rent!

I'm willing to give fantasy/sci-fi a lot of latitude, but this just plain stinks. Clearly intended for kids/teens it's ending was a foregone conclusion making every moment of "suspense" a lost cause. It's based on a book and it seems clear that the film-makers expected one to have read it. On the plus side: the special effects were fairly good and the New Zealand scenery most impressive.

This movie never made it to the big screen...That in itself should explain some things about this movie. Not that it is poorly written, but the script could have used something. The storyline left a lot to be explained but never was...The cool thing about it was the location it was shot in and the decent special effects. Overall this movie made about as much sense as a dog and cat having sex together...
