Silver’s latest film Uncertain Terms finds some substance within its ideology of evaporated ambitions, though there’s plenty of empty space in which the film is still able to limit itself.

Silver may have made a habit of documenting characters with shaky futures ahead, but judging by his latest, he knows where he's going, even if it's thrillingly uncharted territory.

Very realistic depiction of teenage love with pregnant ones, I think. I can't say know anything about this but it seems outrageous, whimsical and real. The man of the story seems to have taken to the crazy bitches states of mind though. Not romantic much.

Silver offers up a generally assured and compelling film here.

Norman Wilner 01 Jul 2015

The story doesn't develop as much as deepen, which might frustrate people looking for a simpler, less intuitive drama, but it worked just fine for me.
