One of my favourite films growing up. The shear panic caused by one crazed marksman is tangible. Don't think they could remake this as it would be either utter pants or have a bunch of do-gooders saying its "controversial subject matter".

Efficient enough as formula suspense, but it fails to confront the implications of its subject, preferring instead evasiveness and fast cynicism to pull it through.
