A glorious movie. Stands out above others in the genre through great ambition. The scale is grand, the themes are many, and the action is plentiful. Achilles wrestles on a personal level with glory and sacrifice, while on the whole the film criticizes blind religion in showing how an empire falls due to following superstition over battle tactics.

Although this movie is not 100% accurate compared to Homer's Illiad, this movie showed what Trojan War could have looked like to us.

I am enjoying it, the gore is surprisingly good for the time that the film was made in.

Best movie of all time, you will never see actors like this again even the music created by the famous James Horner was remarkable. Overall I can watch this movie over over again and I am still amaze of the quality of the film.
